| These Cast Glass and Metal sculptures would be suitable for a variety of locations. The work is really about the human condition, and our search for knowledge. It is about what we learn and the fact that we stand on the shoulders of our predecessors. Human beings are hard wired to seek understanding and search for meaning, this work, hopefully, is a celebration of our continuing work. This work is entitled " Sources" and the imagery is my interpretation of primaries, natural, scientific, artistic, and personal. The work stands 10'-10" H x 67" W x 42" D . Each piece of glass is approximately 1.75 inches thick and is created in two pours with enamel glass paint screened onto a clear middle piece. After the last pour these layers are fused into one block. The work can be placed indoors or out of doors. |
